Explanations were very easy to understand. Very well written. The Quizzes were very helpful.
Good!
Good
Discriptive
I found it is useful. There is not enough information regarding the allowance which one can claim in their tax withholding calculation.
I find this very useful, a very good book!
I thought I knew a lot about payroll, which I do, but after getting the workbook I realize there is a lot more than just what I do for my current employer. The workbook is about 3-4 times bigger than the other workbooks and it’s worth every penny.
Great.
Very helpful
I learn a lot
The coursework presented in the workbook was presented in a very user friendly, easy to understand format. I felt confident about what I had learned.¬†I was disappointed with the CB exam. It didn’t seem to test the most relevant payroll subject matter. The final exam in the workbook, however, did a good job at testing what would be needed to do the job in the workplace.
It’s very good at instructing at the introductory level on this subject
Generally very good. Learned that I did not know as much as I thought I did. Easy to read and understand. I would recommend as a very cost effective training tool.
I did not complete the exams, I do payroll at work I would rate a 5 star
Basic payroll knowlege is useful.
Very intense with all of the info a payroll person should know. I see why some companies hire Payroll companies such as ADP. I have worked in payroll before but the software did all of the work and we just had to make sure we put in the correct info.
The information was presented in a clear concise manner. The quizzes after each section and the tests at the end of the book truly helped to study for the certified bookkeeper exam.
I am just starting this course. I’ve worked with payroll for about 10 years and it’s interesting to see all the aspects of the job, not just what I needed to know.
Really like the ease of understanding this book has.
The information on the book is very informative. However, for someone who never had a payroll experience before, I would like to see a case study to process payroll coverting number of hours work to gross pay, taxes withholding and deductions, and to dollar amount that should appear on a paycheck and to generating journal entries for the period.
information was detail and explanation was clear.
good basics & review
I wish the index were a little more robu, for topic searches post-test. However, I thought the format of the book itself was very good.
I was not very aware of payroll functions and laws and this book helped alot.
Taking the test now to send in. Excellent information
The Professor made this course a lot easier to understand.
The materials were easy to read and simple to retain.
Very useful and spicific. Well done!
