Great!
Informational, but could have been presented better, with more charts and tables. Payroll is already confusing. Continuous long paragraphs about payroll don’t help.
excellent course
Easy to understand
I found the information outdated and very unorganized.
Well written and easy to understand course. The questions in each chapter are so helpful as well.
The Mastering Payroll book is awesome. The materials are up to date and very well written. The information is easy to understand and retain. I really appreciate these books. I am looking forward to becoming certified.

Good course to understand the basics of payroll.
More information on recording entries from the payroll service. I needed to figure out how to book entries from the payroll service I was using. This a very good course for beginners only
Payroll theory itself is very detailed and complicated. Generally, the book is ok, especially its quizzes focus on the real examples, which might help a lot for a payroll specialist. But there is something wrong with the print which makes the book miss the Quiz problems (P66)
Great material.
Easy to follow, informative, good examples given
Very informative and clear on the material.
I like it! this book is clear, concise and easy to understand.
Excellent course, very illustrative
This is excellent workbook with great information I would rate it number (5) star
The text is very detailed and I like this course very much.
UGH! This was a very frustrating book & Course. The class seems very archaic and doesnt take into consideration modern tech and how people just dont do it this way anymore. So for me I felt like the books did not do a very good job at providing an idea of what to expect in a modern job.
It might be beneficial if some examples of IRS letters regarding errors in quarterly filing of Form 941 were presented, and what caused the error, and how to correct the error. Sorry if this is in Payroll II.
Easy to follow and understand. Very helpful.
excellent course material to anyone interested in payroll. thanks a lot.
The course was excellent
I need to pay extra attention to master all the information.
Good book. It was helpful
I thought it had a lot of great info and concepts.
Explained pretty clearly with good exercises
Generally well presented. But there were a few typos that through me off: 1. Page 53 = says MUST Obtain as heading, but then it says “should” review for SS# card. 2. Page 66, Prob III, Q5: 3rd day on the job (as per p. 56). Why is answer days? 3. Page 96 typo. it should be Fri Sept 1, not 5
Excellent.
There is a lot of information in this course. I do feel that the chapter could have been put into a better order; at times you read about something the next chapter or chapter after taught on. Overall I think it was very nicely composed.
