I really LOVED this book in particular. I finished it and felt like I really knew the IRS regulations, forms, deadlines, etc. GREAT JOB!
I learned all the basic structures of W2.
I got 100% so I guess I’ll rate it 5 stars!
I found this a bit confusing between Federal and State regulations and law.
I found it to be very informative and helpful. I love the format of instuction then actual problems to work out. Everything was explained for full understanding
great summary – Wish more depth could be added
Great course. I had previously had experince with payroll, but this really gave me more, knowledge.
Good review of what I already knew.
Good refresher course for someone with 30 years of payroll experience
Good practice in the basics even for someone who is just a liaison between the employer and a payroll company. Payroll regulations are ever-changing so one cannot rely totally on the workbook for information regarding law. However, the processes don’t change.
Good information. Would be helpful to have a resource that mirrors QuickBooks.
GOOD COURSE
Good beginning information on payroll. Would like more practice assignments in each section.

Great guide for explaining payroll basics in simple terms. Would like to see books developed that are stste specific
Great source for learning basic payroll.
All the self study materials I’ve used so far have been straight to the point, and not giving more information than necessary. The double quiz at the end of each chapter reinforce the points that should be remembered. Would definitely recommend AIPB for any self study they offer.
I find all of AIPB’s courses very through and informative. I found the course content easy to understand.
Good material.
Very informative course. I learned a lot from this for my new position in my company where I am responsible for all aspects of payroll now. I would have never made the transition as easy without the help from this course.
Very detailed up-to-date information.
This book really helped me understand payroll functions and the tax forms used to remit witholdings to the IRS. I am more confident and looking forward to taking on clients who have employees and use payroll services. I am also looking forward to reading Mastering Payroll II. It will help me be well prepared for my future clients.
